More images of the G-Shock GWG-B1000MG-1A9 have now been shared by sources, including morgan_gshock on Instagram (post below). These are the clearest pictures of the unreleased model to date. As before, they show a watch with a dark dial featuring red-orange and gold accents. It has a chunky dark gray/black casing and strap, with bronze elements including the crown. Plus, this hybrid watch has a black background digital display. It has a somewhat similar color scheme and design as older models like the Casio G-Shock 40th Anniversary Flare Red Mudmaster GWG2040FR-1A watch and the Maharishi x G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-1000MH-1A.
While Casio has yet to officially confirm the specifications of the G-Shock GWG-B1000MG-1A9, as a GWG-B1000 series watch, it is expected to offer shock, mud and vibration resistance, alongside 200 m water resistance. It should be radio-controlled (Multiband 6) with a Homecity/World Time swap function and Bluetooth connectivity. The watch is also likely to have a Triple Sensor, including a compass and thermometer, and Tough Solar Charging technology.
The Casio G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-B1000MG-1A9 watch was initially rumored for a late 2026 release. However, more recent reports suggest that it could launch as soon as May 2026. Plus, geesgshock on Instagram suggests that it could retail for around £700-800 (~$940-$1,075).
