New Casio GBX-H5600 leak hints at pricing and May release window for fitness-tracking watch

Casio’s upcoming G-Shock GBX-H5600 has showed up again after it last surfaced in February 2026, this time with pricing and a tentative release window. New information from Japanese sources suggests the watch could launch as early as May, with a listed price of ¥44,000 (~$275).
Previous certification listings and render leaks had already outlined the watch’s direction. The GBX-H5600 appears to sit between the surf-focused G-Lide series and the fitness-oriented G-Squad lineup, with elements from both.
The latest details also cement previously leaked hardware. The watch is expected to feature a high-resolution MIP display, solar charging, and Bluetooth connectivity. An optical heart-rate sensor is also mentioned again, in line with earlier assumptions based on the "H" designation and visible sensor hardware in leaked renders. Two variants are expected at launch: GBX-H5600-1 (black) and GBX-H5600-2 (blue), both with translucent resin elements and G-Lide branding.
The rectangular display will come with tide graph functionality and a layout suited for water sports. At the same time, the addition of heart-rate tracking and fitness metrics puts it closer to models like the DW-H5600, which already covers activity tracking, sleep data, and cardio metrics.
Contextually, this also shows us that Casio is actively pushing towards MIP displays across recent releases. Models like the GMW-BZ5000 and GW-BX5600 have already gotten a visibility update, and the GBX-H5600 will follow the same direction.
There is still no official confirmation from Casio regarding launch timing or pricing. However, the consistency across certification data, renders, and now pricing leaks more than likely means that the GBX-H5600 is close to an official release.
In the meanwhile, you can check out the Casio GBX100S-1 on Amazon.
