New Casio G-Shock rainbow ion-plated metal watch on the way to more countries

The Casio G-Shock Full Metal GMW-BZ5000RC-1 watch will soon be available in more European countries. This popular new model launched in Japan in early April 2026 and has since been released in the UK.
Now, Casio has listed the G-Shock Full Metal GMW-BZ5000RC-1 watch at its online stores in various EU countries, such as the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. In this region, it is listed with a €799 RRP. It is worth noting that it will only be available to Casio ID members, though you can sign up for a free account on the brand’s website. While Casio has yet to announce the release date of the GMW-BZ5000RC-1 in this region, prospective customers can sign up for a mailing list to be notified via email when it arrives. Casio’s G-Shock GMW-BZ5000RC-1 is a rainbow themed watch with a multicolored ion-plated centre to the metal casing. The rainbow theme is found again on the watch face, in a slim line surrounding the negative MIP LCD. This watch has a silver tone stainless steel casing with a matching strap featuring a hairline finish.
The G-Shock GMW-BZ5000 is a Bluetooth watch with automatic time adjustments and a phone finder tool available via the Casio Watches smartphone app. Other features of this radio-controlled (Multiband 6) model include support for world time, a precise stopwatch and multiple daily alarms. Users can customize the look of the display, choosing between a couple of fonts and various layouts. Plus, it is water resistant to 200 m, with Tough Solar charging to extend its battery life.
It remains to be seen when the Casio G-Shock Full Metal GMW-BZ5000RC-1 watch will be officially released in the US.
