New Casio Oceanus Manta Bluetooth watch on the way

Casio has unveiled the Oceanus OCW-S7000AP-1A watch in Japan. This new Manta S7000 series watch is part of a wider ‘Awa indigo’ range, with models using the traditional Japanese dyeing technique to create three blue-hued mother-of-pearl sub dials.
These Casio Oceanus OCW-S7000AP-1A’s blue indicators are set in a patterned black dial, which is surrounded by a sapphire crystal tachymeter bezel with a blue gradient vapor deposition finish. The casing is made from silver colored titanium, with a matching solid titanium band. It measures 47.5 x 42.8 x 9.5 mm (~1.87 x 1.69 x 0.37 inches) and weighs 83 g (~2.93 oz).
Casio’s OCW-S7000AP-1A is a Bluetooth watch with automatic time correction from six stations globally via Multiband 6. The analog watch has three hands and a basic date display. The three inset dials are for a 24-hour clock, a 1-second stopwatch and the day of the week. This model uses Tough Solar charging technology, allowing it to run for up to five months with typical use. Plus, it is water resistant to 10 ATM.
In Japan, the Casio Oceanus OCW-S7000AP-1A watch will launch on May 22nd. In this market, it is set to retail for ¥264,000 (~$1,660), with only 1,300 units of the model available worldwide. When this product could reach other countries like the US or Germany remains to be seen.
