Adidas Two Ring launches as cheaper alternative to the Casio Ring Watch

Since the successful launch of the Casio Ring Watch, more and more watches in the shape of a ring have come onto the market, including a ring watch from Timex. Now comes a model created in a collaboration between Adidas and Timex.
The Adidas Originals Digital Two Ring Watch has a minimalist design. The metal case comes in either silver or gold, the ring is based on a classic link bracelet and the front could hardly be simpler with an Adidas logo and a simple segment display that only shows the hours and minutes. By dispensing with the seconds or date display, the digits can be displayed larger for better legibility.
The display is protected from scratches by quartz glass and is therefore not quite as scratch-resistant as sapphire glass displays. The stainless steel case is water-resistant to 3 ATM, which means the ring should survive a dip in the pool. The "bracelet" is flexible and stretchable to ensure a comfortable fit on different fingers. One button each on the left and right side of the 20 millimeter wide case allows the time to be set, but the watch does not have any other functions. Adidas has not yet confirmed whether the battery can be replaced by the user or only by a technician.
Prices and availability
The Adidas Originals Digital Two Ring Watch will be launched on April 17 for $125 in the US, or €120 in Europe.
