Grand Seiko teases new Spring Drive UFA diver’s watch

A new Grand Seiko Spring Drive UFA diver’s watch has been teased on social media. This hotly anticipated timepiece is set to be unveiled in the near future at the annual Watches and Wonders event.
The teaser video of the unreleased Grand Seiko Spring Drive watch (below) reveals limited design features. The timepiece appears to have a somewhat similar metal case to the Evolution 9, and the background of the final frame hints at a dial like that used on the SLGA021 Lake Suwa-inspired watch. Also shown are luminescent indexes and hands, and a crown in the 3 o’clock position. It is worth noting that a date display, typically found near the 3 o’clock marker on the dial, is not seen in the video, suggesting that it may be missing for this model.
At the end of the teaser video, Grand Seiko confirms that its new Spring Drive UFA diver’s watch will be on show at the Watches and Wonders event in Geneva, which starts on April 14th 2026. Rumors indicate that this premium model could retail for between $12,000 and $14,000 in the US, though this has yet to be announced by the brand. The specifications, including the size, thickness and movement of this new watch, are also expected to be confirmed at the watchmaking event later this month.
