Seiko launches new limited edition radio-controlled watches

Seiko has launched the Lukia Essential Collection Limited Edition Evergreen watches in Japan. This pair of watches, designed for a couple, are said to be inspired by evergreen trees, meant to symbolize a long lasting bond.
The Seiko Lukia Essential Collection watches have light green dials featuring silver colored indexes, with Roman numerals in the 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock positions. Each has three analog hands and a basic date display. Plus, both watches have a silver tone stainless steel casing and straps.
The first Seiko Lukia Essential Collection watch is the HEC001. It is powered by a 7B62 caliber, a radio-controlled quartz movement with solar charging. Other features include a power saving mode and a fully automatic calendar. The second watch is the smaller HEE001, which utilizes the 1B32 radio-controlled caliber. This is also solar powered, with similar power saving and automatic calendar functions.
The Seiko Lukia Essential Collection Limited Edition Evergreen watches will be released in Japan in May 2026. Both are limited editions, with only 600 units of each available. Both the HEC001J and the HEE001 will retail for ¥80,300 (~$505).
