Seiko just made a new US-exclusive GMT available worldwide

The Seiko Presage Cocktail Time GMT SSK049, which originally launched as a U.S. Special Creation, is now finally making its way to international markets. Listings have surfaced on both the Seiko UK and Seiko Australia websites, which effectively confirms the watch's global expansion - though neither market has it in stock just yet.
In the UK, the watch is listed under the reference SSK049J1 at £520, with availability stated for June. The Australian listing carries the reference SSK049J and is priced at AU$925, also offered as a pre-order. Both are tagged as new additions to their respective regional catalogues.
The SSK049 is part of Seiko's Presage Cocktail Time line, which takes inspiration from the cocktail culture of Tokyo's Ginza district - specifically the Star Bar, long considered one of the world's premier cocktail destinations. This particular reference is themed around the Silver Bullet, which is a blend of gin, kümmel, and lemon juice. That inspiration is visible throughout the design, albeit subtly: the deep blue GMT hand is shaped to resemble a cocktail glass stem, while the gold-tone seconds hand resemble a swizzle stick (used to stir drinks).
The dial itself features a silver radial pressed pattern with a lustrous gloss finish, alongside blue cursive-style Arabic numerals on the 24-hour scale. Powering the watch is the Caliber 4R34 - an entry-level automatic GMT movement with 24 jewels, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The stainless steel case measures 40.5 mm in diameter, 12.82 mm in thickness, and 47.5 mm lug-to-lug, with a box-shaped hardlex crystal and a see-through screw-down caseback. Water resistance is rated at 5 bar.
If you were already a fan of the Cocktail Time line and you're outside the US, the wait appears to be nearly over - at least in the UK and Australia.
