New Citizen quartz chronographs with tachymeter bezels arrive

A trio of Citizen quartz chronographs have appeared at the brand’s online stores in a couple of Asian countries. The AN8230-59M, the AN8234-58E, and the AN8236-52P each have a stainless steel casing with a matching strap.

Features of these new Citizen watches include a 0520 quartz calibre, three analog hands and a basic date display between the 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock positions. This model also features a triple sub-dial, with one indicator showing the time in a 24 hour format, and the other two linked to the chronograph feature. Plus, it has a tachymeter bezel and 10 bar water resistance.

The Citizen AN8230-59M has a blue dial, with silver colored casing and a matching metal strap. The AN8234-58E has a black watch face, with gold-tone accents like the subdials and bezel, and a dual-tone silver-gold bracelet. The third version, the AN8236-52P, has a rose gold face, case and strap, with black elements such as the tachymeter bezel and subdials. Each has a 44.0 x 11.6 mm (~1.73 x 0.46 inches) metal casing.

Citizen has listed the AN8230-59M, AN8234-58E, and AN8236-52P quartz chronographs in countries like Hong Kong and the Philippines. The product listings give RRPs between HK$1,680 and HK$1,880 (~US$214 and US$240) in Hong Kong, and US$225 and US$285 in the Philippines. When these models could arrive in the US remains to be seen.
