Citizen has launched the $1,500 Attesa x The Mandalorian “Beskar” (AT8385-55E), a 42mm limited-edition chronograph that channels the franchise’s near-indestructible metal using Super Titanium. The watch is powered by Eco-Drive H800 movement and is limited to just 100 units worldwide.

Citizen has just launched the Attesa x Mandalorian Beskar, a new limited-edition watch based on the popular Star Wars franchise. The watch is inspired by Beskar, the near-indestructible metal from The Mandalorian, found exclusively on the remote planet of Mandalore and used to forge the Mandalorian’s iconic armor.

Priced at $1,500, the new Attessa (AT8385-55E) chronograph aims to replicate the strength of Beskar using Citizen’s proprietary Super Titanium, which is used to craft the 42mm silver-tone case and triple-link bracelet and is said to be 40% lighter and five times harder than stainless steel.

The overall design appears relatively restrained. The textured black dial features three sub-dials and silver applied indices, with most of the Mandalorian references tucked into the details. There’s a mythosaur emblem engraved on the crown, while the case back is etched with the text “The Mandalorian” alongside his iconic helmet.

The case back features an engraved Mandalorian helmet and Star Wars branding.

Under the anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the black dial is packed with the impressive tech you would expect from the premium Attesa lineup, including a perpetual calendar, a one-twentieth-second chronograph that tracks up to 60 minutes, a power reserve indicator, and 12/24-hour readouts. Concentric subdials add depth and function, while the city-coded world time bezel frames the dial with a technical edge.

The dial highlights include applied markers, triple subdials, and global time zone markings around the bezel.

On the inside, the watch packs the H800 Eco-Drive movement, which pulls energy from any ambient light source to keep the internal battery topped up. Being part of the Attesa series, it also offers multi-band atomic timekeeping capabilities, meaning the watch can automatically sync with radio towers to adjust the time across 26 time zones for superior accuracy.
