Eight new Seiko watches with cut-out dials appear

Seiko has unveiled eight new Selection open heart watches in Japan. These three hand analog timepieces each feature a cut-out window in the 9 o’clock position on the dial, revealing the watch movement.
As reported by u/Plus9Time on Reddit, there are four larger Seiko Selection open heart models: the HFB001 (silver dial, silver bezel), the HFB002 (blue dial, silver bezel), the HFB003 (black dial, silver bezel) and the HFB004 (silver dial, gold bezel). Each version of the watch has a silver tone stainless steel casing that measures 40.0 x 11.8 x 46.2 mm (~1.57 x 0.46 x 1.82 inches).
This Seiko Selection range also includes four smaller watches: the HFB007 (silver dial, silver bezel), the HFB008 (black dial, silver bezel), the HFB009 (silver dial, gold bezel), and the HFB010 (pink dial, pink bezel). Again, there is silver colored metal casing, with a more compact body measuring 33.7 x 10.8 x 39.6 mm (~1.33 x 0.43 x 1.56 inches).
All of the new Seiko Selection open heart watches use a 4R38 automatic calibre. This has an approximate power reserve of 41 hours, and is said to have a daily loss/gain rate of between -35 and +45 seconds.
It is unclear when these Seiko Selection open heart watches will be released in Japan, and whether or when they will reach other markets like the US. Here, customers can buy older open heart models like the SCVE053 via importers (curr. $225 at Amazon).
