Extremely rare Casio G-Shock GM-6900 watch revealed

A new Casio G-Shock limited edition watch, the GM-6900CCC-3, has appeared. This particularly exclusive model is based on the G-Steel GM-6900, a series which recently gained the GM6900YRA-8 (curr. $270 at Amazon US).

An unboxing video shared by Hypebeast on Instagram (post below) has revealed the new G-Shock GM-6900CCC-3. It has a somewhat similar design to the older GM-6900G-9. The watch has a gold colored bezel and casing, with a matching metal clasp and strap loop on the dark green camouflage resin strap. It appears that the bezel is made of Cobarion, a metal alloy that is stronger than stainless steel, with a shiny finish like platinum. Plus, it has a black background digital display.

Features of the G-Shock GM-6900 include a stopwatch, a countdown timer, an alarm and hourly time signals. This Triple Graph model has a fully automatic calendar, and a backlight ensures you can read the screen at any time. On top of this, it is water resistant to 200 m and has a two-year battery life estimate.

It appears that only ten units of the Casio G-Shock GM-6900CCC-3 watch have been produced. According to the Hypebeast report, they will be gifted to “key individuals” around the world. Casio has yet to confirm exactly who is getting one of these rare watches.
