New Casio Edifice ana-digital watches launch with 10-year battery

Casio has just unveiled 3 new Edifice series watches. For now, listings for the aforementioned models are limited to Casio's Thailand website, but availability across other regions seems quite probable.
The ERA-130D encompasses ana-digi models with explicit motorsport influences. The dial takes multiple design cues from Casio's classic Cockpit-era design language, with cutout windows exposing the LCD segments beneath the analog layer. It is intentionally busy. Three colorways are launching at release: ERA-130D-2A in blue, ERA-130D-1A in silver, and ERA-130D-3A with a dark green bezel.
The case is a substantial 50.6 × 46.3 × 14.4 mm in stainless steel and aluminum, weighing 150g - firmly in tool watch territory. Despite the retro styling, the specs are thoroughly practical: 100 m water resistance, a mineral crystal, Neobrite lume, and a CR2025 battery rated for approximately 10 years. That last figure is probably the best feature here - a decade of battery life eliminates one of the most annoying friction points of ana-digi ownership.
Feature-wise, it covers the expected Edifice checklist: 31-timezone world time across 48 cities, 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, hourly signal, and a full auto-calendar through 2099. The hand-shift function - where the analog hands sweep aside to clear the digital display - is present as well. Notably, there's no dedicated seconds hand; the bottom-right subdial handles that duty.
The ERA-130D is priced at ฿7,400 in Thailand, which translates to roughly $228, and is expected to ship within the next month or two, as per @geesgshock.
