New Casio Ring Watch with heart rate sensor could be on the way

A new Casio Ring Watch, model number CRW-H001, appears to be in development. The unreleased accessory would follow the older CRW-001-1 (silver) and CRW-001G-9 (gold) ring watches, released globally in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
The Casio Ring Watch CRW-H001 has been found in the database of the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT). Aside from the model number, the filing does not reveal further details about this product.
However, the ‘H’ in the model number CRW-H001 could point to a heart rate sensor. For example, the Casio G-Shock G-Squad GBD-H2000 watches (GBD-H2000-1A9 curr. $396.86 at Amazon) have a built-in optical sensor allowing the wearer to monitor changes to their heart rate. As a reminder, features of the original CRW-001 digital ring watches include support for dual time zones, time flash and a 1/100th second stopwatch. Plus, these rings come with an adjustable length metal strap, and an LED backlight to illuminate the display in low lighting.
Casio has yet to officially announce the Ring Watch CRW-H001. As such, its specifications remain unknown. It is also unclear when this product could be released; based on previous launches, it could arrive in late 2026 or early 2027.
