The Insta360 Go Ultra will be getting a special edition, based on the global pop culture icon, Hello Kitty. This special edition action camera will be announced later this month in China, with no report of a global release.

Last August, Insta360 launched the Go Ultra as a replacement to the Go 3S. Now, the manufacturer plans to launch a special edition of the 4K action camera.

The Insta360 Go Ultra is currently available to buy in Midnight Black and Arctic White (available on Amazon for $449.99). However, it will soon be joined by a Hello Kitty Edition, thus giving buyers a third option.

Unfortunately, save for the poster teasing the collaboration, we have no idea what the special edition camera looks like. However, we won't have to wait long as the poster says the Insta360 Go Ultra Hello Kitty Edition will launch on May 14 in China. There's no info on a global launch yet.

The Insta360 Go Ultra is an action camera that can record in 4K at 60fps. It has a 50MP 1/1.28'' sensor with a 156° field of view (FOV), a 5nm AI chipset, and a 2.5'' flip touchscreen. It also has a microSD card slot, a 6-axis gyroscope, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual-band Wi-Fi. The camera has a 500mAh battery that should provide up to 70 minutes of use, but when inserted into the Action Pod which has a 1450mAh battery, the battery life goes up to 200 minutes.

For $449, the Insta360 Go Ultra comes with the Action Pod, a magnet pendant, magnetic easy clip, quick release safety cord, and a USB-C cable. There's a more expensive Creator Bundle that includes the aforementioned accessories as well as a quick release mount, a mini 2-in-1 tripod (ver. 2.0), and a pivot stand. Buyers can also purchase additional accessories such as the Toddler Titan Kit, Dive Case, ND filter set, easy clip headband, and AquaLens.
