Early DJI Osmo Pocket 4P hands-on footage reveals 3x-10x zoom capabilities for new vlogging camera with Creator Combo also unboxed
DJI is still tight-lipped about when it will start selling its next Osmo Pocket vlogging camera. However, more clues indicate that the Osmo Pocket 4P will be launching imminently in China.
To recap, numerous influencers were spotted towards the end of last month comparing the Osmo Pocket 4P with the Osmo Pocket 4 and Osmo Pocket 3 (curr. $499 on Amazon). At the same time, DJI itself shared a short teaser video highlighting some of the upgrades that would distinguish the Osmo Pocket 4P from other Osmo Pocket releases.
Now, dozens of influencers have posted first impressions of DJI's new vlogging camera across Chinese social media. So far, DJI has already teased that the Osmo Pocket 4P complements its 1-inch primary camera with a telephoto sensor that delivers up to 3x optical zoom. Based on some early hands-on footage, this new camera can zoom to at least 10x digitally, with CNMO Technology focusing on the Osmo Pocket 4P's capabilities at 6x too.
While many of these hands-on videos focus on the device's capabilities, one content creator has revealed what DJI will include with its Creator Combo package. Reposted to X by Igor Bogdanov and embedded above, the video confirms that DJI includes many of the accessories bundled with the Osmo Pocket 4, like a Fill Light and a Mini Tripod.
Also, a secondary lens is shown at around 1:15 minutes into the video. Although Understand the machine deer does not explain this accessory's use, this appears to be a wide-angle lens for DJI's new telephoto camera. Overall, the amount of Osmo Pocket 4P content posted to Chinese social media today implies that the vlogging camera will launch before the end of May.
