Romo 2: DJI teases new robot vacuum release in May

DJI has already launched numerous devices in the last few weeks. On April 28, the company released the Mic Mini 2 after launching the same device earlier this month in China. Simultaneously, it also announced the Mic Mini 2S, although this release will not be available until June at the earliest.
Shortly afterwards, DJI shared a teaser hinting at a global launch for the Osmo Mobile 8P. For reference, while the Osmo Mobile 8 has been available for some time internationally (curr. $149 on Amazon), the Osmo Mobile 8P will remain exclusive to China until May 7.
The same appears to be the case for DJI's next robot vacuum, which DJI has now started teasing on Chinese social media. Currently, the company has not suggested when the Romo 2nd Generation or Romo 2 will be available.
Instead, it has merely hinted that a second-generation robot vacuum is coming in May 2026. Similarly, DJI is remaining silent on international availability for now. The original Romo series arrived globally just two months after its Chinese debut, though. Hence, a global release for the Romo 2 looks likely at this stage too.
