Update | Official: DJI confirms Mic Mini 2S release with Mic 3 features

Updated: April 28 - 13:00 UTC
DJI has now shared official Mic Mini 2S images. Embedded below, the images highlight that the Mini 2S has a translucent finish and a similar design to the new Mini 2. The company has not shared any additional release details yet, though.
Original article continues as follows:
DJI has just launched the Mic Mini 2 globally after teasing its release earlier this month. For context, the new Mic Mini has been available in China since last week. However, the company has now clarified that the Mic Mini 2 will not be its latest Mic Mini model for long.
Specifically, DJI has teased the release of the Mic Mini 2S, too. Buried at the bottom of its Mic Mini 2 press release, the company adds that it plans to introduce the Mic Mini 2S 'this summer'. Presumably, this release window refers to summer in the Northern Hemisphere, although DJI has not explicitly stated as much yet.
Nonetheless, its inclusion in a German-language press release implies that the company is not referring to the Southern Hemisphere. Thus, the Mic Mini 2S should arrive by September 21 at the latest but no earlier than June 1, depending on your definition of summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
Currently, DJI is keeping the Mic Mini 2S' design a secret. In the meantime, it has confirmed that the Mic Mini 2S will support internal recording just like the Mic 3 (curr. $84 on Amazon). Also, the Mic Mini 2S will be capable of pairing up to four transmitters with one receiver.
