Mic Mini 2: DJI's new wireless microphone unavailable in the US

DJI has already launched several devices in April 2026. To recap, the company has already released the Lito 1 and Lito X1, as well as the Osmo Pocket 4. Also, it presented the Osmo Mobile 8P and the Mic Mini 2, but only in China.
Now, it has begun selling the latter globally. Incidentally, it has confirmed that a second Mic Mini release will be occurring later this year too. In the meantime, the Mic Mini 2 replaces the Mic Mini (curr. $79 on Amazon) with upgrades in a few areas.
For instance, DJI has added colourful front panels that attach magnetically to the Mic Mini 2. As a result, the new Mic Mini is 10% heavier than its predecessor. Also, the Mic Mini 2's transmitter recharges over 20% faster than the equivalent for the Mic Mini. Also, DJI offers a mobile charging case that fits one transmitter and one receiver.
The Mic Mini 2 adds bright, normal and rich tone voice presets too, which were previously restricted to the Mic 3. The Mic Mini 2 starts at £29, €33 and $36 in Canada for just the transmitter itself. Alternatively, a transmitter and receiver cost £49, €59 and $65 when purchased together. For some reason, adding a charging case does not increase prices further.
Meanwhile, DJI has priced the Mic Mini 2 at £69/€79/$87 with two transmitters, a larger charging case and a mobile receiver, among other accessories. Finally, the Mic Mini 2 tops out at £103/€114/$114 with ten multi-colour front covers thrown in. Please see DJI's website for more details. Currently, the company claims that Mic Mini 2 is unavailable in the US.
