DJI launches Lito 1 and Lito X1 with 4K video and obstacle detection

In light of recent leaks, the official launch comes as no surprise: DJI has unveiled the Lito 1 and Lito X1 drones. According to the manufacturer, both models are available immediately priced at €339 for the Lito 1 and €419 for the Lito X1. The Fly More Combo versions cost €479 and €579, respectively. The two drones are not (yet) available in the US. DJI positions both drones as entry-level models. They feature omnidirectional obstacle detection designed to help prevent collisions, protecting both the drone and its surroundings.
Both models support 4K video recording and can capture photos at up to 8K resolution. The Lito 1 is equipped with a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, while the Lito X1 offers an upgraded camera system. Its larger 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and f/1.7 aperture enable HDR video recording with a dynamic range of up to 14 stops, making it better suited for high-contrast scenes. A range of smart features is included to reduce the need for manual control. For instance, ActiveTrack allows the drone to follow subjects—such as users during sports—at speeds of up to 12 m/s. Panorama shots can be captured at the press of a button. DJI claims a maximum flight time of up to 36 minutes using the standard Intelligent Flight Battery. The Lito X1 also comes with 42 GB of internal storage.
