Xiaomi launches new smart energy-efficient air conditioners in Europe

The Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Eco has been released in one European country. This new model was spotted on the brand’s global website earlier in 2026. Now available in Spain, it joins older models like the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco.
The four versions of the Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Eco are suitable for rooms measuring between 10-20 m² (~108-215 ft²) and 50-70 m² (~538-753 ft²). The model delivers heating and cooling, but only offers up-down swing, a downgrade on the Pro model’s up-down left-right swing action. According to Xiaomi, these appliances are relatively energy efficient, with its Mijia AI Energy Saving Mode reducing power consumption by as much as 24.5%.
Smart features of the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco include support for remote controls via the Xiaomi Home app. Here, users can monitor their energy consumption, check on the filter’s cleanliness and receive over-the-air (OTA) updates for the device. Plus, they can choose from a range of modes, including sleep mode, dry mode, and set a timer. The appliance also comes with a physical remote and supports Google Assistant voice commands.
At the Xiaomi online store in Spain, the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco 2.6 kW and 3.5 kW appliances are available for €469.00 and €519.00, respectively. The more powerful Mijia Air Conditioner Eco 5.2 kW and Mijia Air Conditioner Eco 7.0 kW are more expensive, retailing for €859.00 and €1,099.00, respectively. Orders are expected to begin shipping on April 30th. Whether or when these Xiaomi smart air conditioners could be released in other European countries, like Germany, is unclear.
