New Xiaomi Smart Electric Toothbrush Pro launching globally

The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Servo-oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro has been listed on the brand’s global website. This product launched in the company’s home market of China, and is now expected to roll out to various countries worldwide.

Xiaomi’s new Mijia Electric Toothbrush uses a servo-oscillation motor, said to sweep at up to 60° oscillation while vibrating, for wider coverage. According to Xiaomi, the model offers up to 92% cleaning efficiency. Plus, users can choose between two types of brush heads, one of which offers softer bristles for those with sensitivities.

Smart features of the Mijia Smart Servo-oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro include an integrated color display, which can alert the user to an area which needs to be cleaned again and show plaque levels. Thanks to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.4, users can personalize their cleaning experience and view brushing reports in the brand’s app. Plus, vibrational feedback is provided if the user applies too much pressure. The smart toothbrush should run for around 180 days on a single charge, fully recharge in around five hours.

It is unclear when the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Servo-oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro will be released in more markets. While the company already sells similar products in Europe, like the Xiaomi Oscillation Electric Toothbrush (curr. €24.99 at Mi Store DE), this could be the first smart toothbrush from the brand in this market.
