New Xiaomi smart dehumidifier with large capacity launching globally

The Xiaomi Smart Dehumidifier has been listed on the brand’s international website. This new model is described by the brand as “powerful”, suitable for use in a bedroom, bathroom or storage space. The appliance could also be used to speed up the process of drying clothes indoors.

According to Xiaomi, the Smart Dehumidifier offers a 22L daily dehumidifying capacity. However, it is worth noting that there are two drainage methods. One is a 4.5L water tank, which should allow the device to run for around eight hours, and the other is an external drainage pipe that enables the appliance to run continuously. Users can choose between three modes: Smart, Dry and Sleep. In Smart mode, the integrated humidity sensor can automatically adjust the settings based on the current conditions. In Sleep mode, the operating noise is reduced to as little as 35.5 dB(A).

Xiaomi’s Smart Dehumidifier has a built-in touch display, showing the relative humidity level in real-time and offering a range of functions. Alternatively, users can remotely control the appliance through the Xiaomi Home app or with voice assistants like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Plus, there are safety features like a child lock and automatic shutdown if it tips over. The dehumidifier has a sleek, white design, with wheels to make it easier to move around, and it measures 300 x 660 mm (~11.8 x 26.0 inches).

Xiaomi has yet to announce the global launch date of the Smart Dehumifier. Should it be released in Europe, it will join the older Xiaomi Smart Dehumidifier Lite, which retails for €179.99 at the brand’s online store in Germany.
