New upgraded Xiaomi smart air conditioner launches

The 2026 Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Super Energy Saving 1HP (New Level 1 Energy Efficiency) has been launched in China. This new model is said to offer several upgrades compared to its predecessor, including “next-generation” (machine translated) energy-saving features.
Xiaomi’s new Mijia Air Conditioner Super Energy Saving 1HP has an air flow rate of 740 m³/h, with three modes: high, low or circulating air flow. This model has 108 mm (~4.25 inches) wide cross-flow fan blades and is said to start heating or cooling a room in as little as three minutes. Plus, the appliance has an Annual Performance Factor (APF) of 5.45.
Smart features of the 2026 Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Super Energy Saving include the brand’s energy saving algorithm, said to intelligently reduce power consumption by 30%. Thanks to HyperOS Connect, the model can be remotely managed via the Xiaomi app. Plus, both the indoor and outdoor units are described as self-cleaning, with users offered app-based notifications for dirt build-up or other blockages.
In China, the 2026 Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Super Energy Saving 1HP (New Level 1 Energy Efficiency) retails for CNY 1,699 (~$249). It is unclear whether or not this model will be released in other regions like Europe, where the brand already sells the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco 3.5 kW (curr. €629 at Xiaomi Store ES).
