More details of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 surface in new leak

It has been over six months since Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, its current top processor for smartphones and tablets. Since its launch, the SoC has appeared in several devices from various brands such as Honor, OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Samsung. Now, details have begun to surface of its successor which is expected to be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.
The source of the info is from the reliable leaker, Digital Chat Station, and this follows an earlier leak from late March. In the previous leak, he already revealed a few details such as the model number being SM8950 and the chipset being manufactured on TSMC's 2nm node. It was also stated that it will have a 2+3+3 CPU configuration and an Adreno 845 GPU.
In his latest post on the matter, Digital Chat Station reiterates some of the details stated above but adds that the processor will use a new generation of Qualcomm's Oryon CPU architecture. In addition, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is said to have a 16MB L2 cache, an Adreno 845 GPU with a 6-slice configuration, a 12MB GMEM, a 6MB SLC, and support for LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 5.0 storage.
Digital Chat Station has also stated that certain features, such as the cache, have been trimmed in comparison to the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, which is also expected to be launched alongside the non-pro model.
