New Xiaomi smart air conditioner with presence sensor launches

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Central Air Conditioning Duct-type Unit with Motion-sensing Airflow 4 HP (Dual Outlets) in China. This new smart home product features a triple row design for the indoor unit, improving heat exchange.
As is typical for Xiaomi smart air conditioners, this model supports heating and cooling. The integrated mmWave sensors can be used to intelligently detect human presence and adjust the appliance's settings accordingly. For example, you could set the airflow to be directed towards or away from people in the room. Plus, the air conditioner can automatically switch off when no one is detected, saving energy usage.
The Xiaomi Mijia Central Air Conditioning Duct-type Unit with Motion-sensing Airflow 4 HP (Dual Outlets) has an Annual Performance Factor (APF) of 4.62, suggesting that it is relatively efficient. This smart model also supports HyperOS Connect, with users able to remotely control the device via the brand's app or with voice commands. On top of this, customers can pair the appliance with various accessories, like the brand's Smart Air Management Panel, the Fresh Air module, and the MIFD health filter, to suit their needs.
In China, you can pre-order the Xiaomi Mijia Central Air Conditioning Duct-type Unit with Motion-sensing Airflow 4 HP (Dual Outlets) for CNY 8,999 (~$1,320). While Xiaomi already sells smart air conditioners in Europe (Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco 3.5 kW curr. €629 at Mi Store ES), it is unclear whether or not this new model will reach the market.
