Dreame launching new smart portable air conditioner

Dreame has listed a new portable air conditioner, the P-Wind10, in some European countries. The model is described as a three in one device, with the ability to cool, dehumidify or circulate air around a room.

The Dreame P-Wind10 is said to offer 3D airflow covering a wide area to quickly cool the space. There are two versions of the portable air conditioner: a 7,000 BTU model suits areas measuring up to 25 m² (~270 ft²) in size, while the 9,000 BTU version is designed for larger spaces measuring up to 33 m² (~355 ft²). Aside from the cooling capacity, these two variants are identical.

Users of the Dreame P-Wind10 can control the appliance’s settings with the accompanying remote or on the integrated LED screen. Plus, support for Wi-Fi enables the user to remotely manage the device via the brand's app. Here, you can set up a timer to reduce energy usage and trigger a sleep mode for reduced operating noise. The model is somewhat compact, measuring 305 x 285 x 700 mm (~12.0 x 11.2 x 27.6 inches), and casters make it easier to move around your home.

While Dreame suggests that the P-Wind10 Portable Air Conditioner will officially launch on May 12th, it is already available to order at the brand’s online store. In countries like Spain, France and Germany, the 7,000 BTU version costs €359, and the 9,000 BTU variant is priced at €399. It is unclear when this model could be released in the US, where the brand sells various vacuums and robot vacuums (L50 Ultra curr. $949.99 at Amazon).
