Casio launching three new square digital display watches

A new Casio Standard digital watch, the W-738H, has appeared. This upcoming model has been listed on the brand’s online store in Singapore. According to this product page, it will be available in three colorways: the W-738H-1AV (black, light display), the W-738H-1BV (black, dark display) and the W-738H-3AV (khaki, light display).

The Casio W-738H has a square watch face, with the digital display showing the time in 12 or 24 hour formats. The model can also show date and day of the week information, and supports dual time zones. There are tools like a precise stopwatch, a countdown timer with a 24-hour range, a daily alarm and hourly time signals. Plus, users can get vibration alerts linked to these features.

Casio’s W-738H has an LED backlight, ensuring you can read the display at any time, and a fully automatic calendar. Its resin casing measures 47.0 x 42.8 x 13.5 mm (~1.85 x 1.69 x 0.53 inches). Each version comes with a matching resin band, with a shorter distance between holes providing a closer fit, ensuring that the wearer can feel the watch’s vibrations. It is also worth noting that the model is water resistant to 100 m and has a 10 year battery life.

In Singapore, the Casio Standard W-738H-1AV, W-738H-1BV and W-738H-3AV watches are set to retail for S$69 (~$54) each. While the product listing states that the model is “coming soon”, an exact launch date has not been provided. Whether or when these products could reach other countries like the US or Germany remains to be seen.
