Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner: Xiaomi launches wireless vacuum with strong 18,000Pa suction

Xiaomi has just unveiled the Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner 5C, the newest entry in its affordable cordless cleaner range, succeeding last year's 4C. Building on feedback and complaints about the predecessor, the 5C focuses on three areas: increased suction power, reduced hair tangling and quicker drying.
Suction power has climbed from 15,000Pa to 18,000Pa, making it better equipped to remove dust, debris and pet hair from a variety of floor surfaces. A new triple anti-tangle system is said to prevent hair from wrapping around the brush, a feature that should particularly appeal to pet owners. Moroever, the 5C reportedly runs quieter at roughly 50 db, generates 60°C airflow to dry faster and cut down on odors, and offers up to 45 minutes of use, enough to cover a 341-square-meter space (approx. 3,670 square feet) on a single charge.
The Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner 5C is currently available in China for 999 yuan (approx. $150). Although international availability is yet to be confirmed, the earlier 4C is already listed on Xiaomi's global site, which suggests that the 5C may also follow soon. Comparable alternatives could be the Tineco Floor One i5 Stretch or the Dreame H12 Pro.
