Japanese manufacturer Sanwa Supply has introduced a rechargeable jet blower with 10 airflow settings, three interchangeable nozzles and enough advertised power to clear stubborn dust, water droplets and fallen leaves. Your keyboard crumbs may finally have met their match.

Sanwa Supply has introduced the 200-CDADE008, a cordless electric jet blower designed for everything from cleaning computer keyboards to removing water trapped around car mirrors. The device uses a brushless motor rated at up to 50,000 rpm, generating a claimed maximum airspeed of 55 m/s. That's quite a lot of enthusiasm for removing dust.

Unlike a conventional compressed-air duster, the blower offers 10 adjustable airflow settings and a turbo mode activated by holding a dedicated button. Three interchangeable nozzles are included: a concentrated nozzle for stubborn water droplets, an extension for difficult-to-reach areas and a wider attachment for general cleaning. The adjustable airflow should also help prevent a routine keyboard cleanup from becoming a search party for missing keycaps.

The blower features a 6.5 cm air outlet, an LED work light, an LCD indicator and electrostatic discharge protection intended to reduce risks when cleaning electronic equipment. At approximately 940 g, it is portable, although hardly pocket-sized.

A built-in 4,000 mAh battery provides up to 80 minutes of operation at the lowest setting, according to Sanwa. Turbo mode reduces that figure to approximately six minutes, suggesting that maximum power is best reserved for particularly stubborn debris. Charging takes around four hours using a compatible 30 W USB-C PD adapter.

The Sanwa 200-CDADE008 is priced at ¥19,800 (including tax) in Japan, where it is available through Sanwa Direct stores on Amazon or Rakuten. International availability has not been announced.

The maximum airspeed and battery-life figures are manufacturer claims and have not been independently verified.
