Garmin has issued a new update for one of its recent mid-range smartwatches. Available for beta testers, the new firmware is said to make over a dozen changes and improvements from an update that arrived only a few weeks ago.

Garmin is now offering a new update to the Venu 4 (curr. $549 on Amazon). To recap, the company issued Beta 18.19 at the end of July. Prior to that, the company claimed to have improved battery life for stable software users with the release of Software Version 17.37.

Now, Garmin is offering a new v18.xx update for the Venu 4 on its Beta Program. The fourth so far, Beta 18.23 makes 15 changes from Beta 18.19, including updated Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) translations. Additionally, Garmin claims to have improved its Morning Report and Evening Report features in a few areas.

Moreover, Beta 18.23 introduces fixes for bugs that could cause device resets when receiving an audio spectator message or when saving an activity. On top of that, the "Ok Garmin" wake word should work more accurately after updating to Beta 18.23. Garmin has not confirmed when it will be transitioning v18.xx software to its stable development branch. In the meantime, the changelog for Beta 18.23 is as follows:
