Garmin Tacx Neo 2T turns bikes into smart indoor trainers with Zwift support

The latest version of the Garmin Tacx Neo 2T Smart Trainer is directly compatible with the indoor cycling platforms Zwift and Rouvy, making setup particularly easy. The factory-installed Zwift Cog replaces a conventional cassette and is compatible with most bikes with 8 to 13 gears.
Once a bike is connected to the Tacx Neo 2T, the virtual gears can be controlled using the included remote control, which attaches to the bike’s handlebars. This remote control can also operate the Zwift app. The smart trainer collects data such as power and cadence, which can be transmitted in real time to Zwift or Rouvy and is also available in the Garmin Connect smartphone app after the workout.
According to Garmin, the Tacx Neo 2T offers a particularly realistic riding experience, while vibrations are minimized to reduce noise levels. Inertia is dynamically adjusted to compensate for weight, incline angle, and speed. Freedom of movement to the left and right, as well as the simulation of various road surfaces via a vibration motor, are also included. Motion Plates for multidirectional movement and a Tacx Alpine incline simulator, which simulates mountain climbs at angles ranging from –10 to +25 degrees, are sold separately.
