Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 Lite leaks with AMOLED and GPS for €60

The Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 was just launched in mid-May, and Xiaomi is already reportedly planning two more affordable sister models. 91mobiles was able to get an early look at the key details regarding the Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 Active and the Redmi Watch 6 Lite.
With a list price of €50 ($57), the Redmi Watch 6 Active is the more affordable of the two models. While the design is very similar to the more expensive Redmi Watch 6, the digital crown has been removed entirely, and the AMOLED display is reportedly shrinking from 2.07 inches to 1.85 inches, with a resolution of 450 x 390 pixels. The battery capacity is 14.5 percent smaller at 470 mAh, so the battery life is expected to be about ten days with normal use or 20 days in power-saving mode.
The watch is said to feature built-in speakers and microphones, allowing users to make phone calls via the connected smartphone, among other things. The Redmi Watch 6 Active reportedly features a heart rate and SpO2 sensor as well as 140 sports modes. The Redmi Watch 6 Lite is slightly more expensive at $60 ($69), but it also offers a slightly more eye-catching design with a bulge in the case on the right side.
This model features a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 502 x 410 pixels, but uses the same 470 mAh battery as the Redmi Watch 6 Active. For the extra cost, buyers are primarily getting two upgrades – a more precise 9-axis motion sensor and a built-in GPS module. However, an NFC chip for contactless payments is only available on the more expensive Redmi Watch 6. It is not yet known when the Redmi Watch 6 Active and the Redmi Watch 6 Lite will be released.
