(Update: Picture of sensor module) The launch of the Garmin CIRQA fitness and health wristband appears to be imminent, as details about its price and features have already been leaked, and the latest alternative to Whoop and Fitbit Air has now been spotted in a photo for the first time – in two colors, no less.

The supposedly final design of the Garmin CIRQA can be seen for the first time in an image obtained by Garmin Rumors. According to Garmin Rumors, the launch is already scheduled for Tuesday, July 21. The image shows the Garmin CIRQA in both red with gold hardware and in black.

The design is somewhat reminiscent of Google’s Fitbit Air ($99 on Amazon), as at first glance, the Garmin model also appears to feature only a fabric wristband and a metal clasp. However, the wristband has a noticeably smoother surface, while the device itself is significantly wider than the Fitbit Air. The rough surface on one side suggests that the wristband fastens with a Velcro closure, allowing for continuous length adjustment.

Beneath the fabric, a rectangular device can be seen that looks a bit like a slim smartwatch without a display. There is a button on the right side – quite unusual for this class of devices, as many competitors are operated instead by tapping the surface of the wearable with a finger.

According to the latest rumors, the Garmin CIRQA will be released for €199, £179, or $199, depending on the region. A Garmin Connect+ subscription is also reportedly required to use select features. The official Garmin website has already confirmed that CIRQA supports Garmin Health Status, meaning the wristband should at least include a heart rate sensor, an SpO2 sensor, and a skin temperature sensor. All remaining details regarding its features are expected to be confirmed by the launch at the latest.

Update: A new leak now also reveals the back including an outdated sensor array as well as four colors.
