Garmin CIRQA launches with 10-day battery life and 80 workouts, no subscription required
The Garmin CIRQA Smart Band is finally here – and significantly cheaper than the Whoop 5.0, since no subscription is required to use most of its features. However, at a price of $199, the CIRQA costs twice as much as Google’s Fitbit Air, and is as expensive as the Polar Loop ($199 on Amazon). The concept is the same – the Garmin CIRQA collects data around the clock using a heart rate and SpO2 sensor, as well as a skin temperature sensor and an accelerometer.
Among other things, the wristband is designed to track sleep, the menstrual cycle, stress, and even workouts. CIRQA supports more than 80 activities and can automatically recognize many sports profiles, so you don’t have to manually select and start a workout in the accompanying app. However, CIRQA does not include a GPS module to track the distance covered while running or cycling, so a workout must inevitably be started manually, and a smartphone must be brought along to collect GPS data.
Garmin CIRQA counts steps and calories burned, and also automatically tracks sleep and naps. A smart alarm is designed to wake users during a light sleep phase up to 30 minutes before the set time by vibrating the wristband. Garmin CIRQA supports many typical Garmin features, including Body Battery, Lifestyle Logging, and Garmin Coach, which is available in the accompanying Garmin Connect smartphone app. All collected data is displayed in the app. Garmin CIRQA is compatible with both Apple iPhones and Android smartphones.

The Garmin CIRQA is now available for $199.99 in Garmin’s online store, in two sizes and in black, blue, beige, and red.
