Garmin CIRQA faces new competition from Europe, according to leak

Whoop now has numerous competitors, from the Polar Loop ($199 on Amazon) to Garmin CIRQA and the ultralight and relatively affordable Google Fitbit Air. Now Finnish smartwatch specialist Suunto also appears to be planning a comparable product, as the5krunner has already uncovered a certification that has revealed the first photos of this product.
The name is not yet known, but the certification reveals the internal model number HR264. The device is around 42 millimeters long and 30 millimeters wide, its thickness is not yet apparent. The band appears to pass through openings in the casing on both sides, much like on the Polar Loop, so that only the band and the frame are visible when the gadget is worn on the wrist.
Screws are visible on the bottom, suggesting that the band can be opened relatively easily to replace the battery if needed. The four metal contacts on the back are likely intended for charging. However, these differ from the charging contacts on the manufacturer's smartwatches, suggesting that the band requires a proprietary charger.
The heart rate sensor resembles the sensor in the Suunto Run 2, which can also measure blood oxygen saturation and skin temperature. No further details about the features, price, or launch date of this screenless Suunto band are known yet. However, it is reasonable to assume that, like most competitors, the gadget supports sleep and workout tracking while syncing with the Suunto smartphone app.
