Ultrahuman rolls out biggest platform update so far

Ultrahuman is currently rolling out Emerald, the largest software update in the company’s history. It introduces a redesigned app and a host of new features aimed at generating easy-to-understand and actionable health insights.
The core feature of the update is UltraSphere, an AI-driven "decision engine" that generates more than 60 personalized "Next Best Action" prompts, drawing on sleep, recovery, HRV, skin temperature, cycle phase and glucose readings, along with the user's location, weather and daily rhythm. Rather than requiring users to interpret raw data themselves, the tool offers direct suggestions, such as heading outside for morning light or easing off coffee for better sleep.
The update also shifts much of the app’s data processing to the device itself, allowing users to access insights even without an internet connection. Emerald adds redesigned navigation, light and dark modes, improved workout detection, enhanced heart rate tracking for Ring Air and Ring Pro, and a more accurate VO₂ Max algorithm supposedly validated by laboratory testing. Support for third-party devices, including Apple Watch, Garmin and WHOOP, has also been added.
Additional enhancements include (but are not limited to) Live View for real-time health monitoring, a Sleep Screener, a Longevity section, contextual notifications and expanded AI features through Jade. The update is free for all Ultrahuman users.
