Two new budget smartwatches from Kospet launch at competitive prices
Kospet has launched two affordable smartwatches featuring dual-band GNSS, 5 ATM water resistance, and a built-in LED flashlight, offering surprisingly robust feature sets wrapped in two distinctly different designs.

Two new smartwatches from Kospet—the Orb 2 and Pulse 2—have launched, both aiming to deliver exceptional value for money. Both models are available on Amazon in the US with a list price of $80, though an active coupon currently drops the price by $15.

Feature-wise, the two wearables are virtually identical. The key difference lies in their form factors: the Kospet Orb 2 sports a round 1.43-inch AMOLED display, while the Kospet Pulse 2 features a rectangular 1.96-inch AMOLED screen. Both panels boast a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. Kospet claims a battery life of up to two weeks under typical usage conditions.

The feature set is surprisingly robust for this price point. It includes a dual-band GNSS module supporting six satellite positioning systems, alongside a magnetic sensor for compass functionality. Optical sensors monitor heart rate and blood oxygen saturation, while standard tracking metrics like stress levels, sleep duration, and sleep quality are also covered.

One standout feature is the built-in LED flashlight with five brightness levels—a practical tool that proved surprisingly useful in our recent review of the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro. For fitness enthusiasts, the watches offer over 100 sports modes and integration with the Apexmove app for personalized training plans. However, unlike competitors like the Amazfit Active 2 (on Amazon), neither the Kospet Orb 2 nor the Pulse 2 supports onboard mapping features.
