The Nitecore EDC15 combines a 1,200-lumen white beam with a dedicated UV emitter in a compact, durable pocket flashlight. Early reviews praise its 200-meter throw, comfortable design and versatile performance.

Nitecore has added the EDC15 to its long-running EDC lineup, a compact dual-light flashlight combining a 1,200-lumen white LED with a separate ultraviolet emitter for tasks such as leak detection, document verification and hygiene checks. The white light reaches a claimed distance of 208 metres, while the UV emitter is said to reach 1,350mW across three output levels.

Built from stainless steel with a PVD coating, the EDC15 weighs 85 grams and measures roughly 111mm by 28mm by 16mm, with an IPX7 water-resistance rating and 2-meter impact resistance. It runs on a built-in 1,050mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C, with Nitecore specifying 1 hour and 30 mins for a full charge.

Nitecore claims up to 200 hours of runtime at the 1-lumen ultralow setting and up to 11 hours at the 50-lumen level. With UV light, it reportedly delivers up to 11 hours of runtime at the lowest 220mW setting. A hands-on review found the throw genuinely impressive for the light's size, with the beam still visible and useful at 200 metres. The reviewer also praises the flashlight for its design, its comfortable grip and compact size.

The light appears to be newly launched and is currently listed on Nitecore's own site, though pricing and wider retail availability are yet to be confirmed.
