Fenix SW06R: New clip-on EDC flashlight features rotating head

Fenix has introduced the USB-C rechargeable SW06R flashlight. The new model is a clip-on light that can be attached to clothing, for example, and it also features a magnetic back. Its three light sources can be used across eight modes. The main light is a 500-lumen white LED with a color temperature of 6,500K and a throw of up to 328 feet. A second light emits UV light for applications such as detecting stains or checking banknotes. The third source is a red light that can also alternate with a blue light in a flashing mode. However, the blue light cannot be used continuously.
The flashlight is powered by a built-in battery rated at 1,300mAh, which likely corresponds to a capacity of 4.8Wh assuming a voltage of 3.7V. It lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes in the 500-lumen Turbo mode, provided the flashlight does not overheat. In summer, breaks will therefore probably be necessary. At 150 lumens, it can run continuously for 5 hours and 15 minutes. The 30-lumen and 5-lumen settings last 23 hours and 50 minutes and 65 hours and 35 minutes, respectively.
The red light lasts well over 24 hours regardless of the mode. The UV light has a runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes. The SW06R charges via USB-C. The flashlight measures approximately 3.9 inches long and weighs 3.1 oz. According to Fenix, it has an IP66 rating and can withstand drops from up to 3.3 feet. Last but not least, the flashlight is already available at the brand's official US online store for an MSRP of $55.
