Sofirn has announced an upgraded version of the SE1. The SE1 Pro is designed to illuminate objects with a high CRI for more accurate color reproduction. The color temperature has also been changed to 5,000K, while the weight has increased slightly to 0.74 oz.

Sofirn has introduced the SE1 Pro flashlight. It succeeds the SE1 with several improvements. As before, it comes with a wristband that allows the SE1 Pro to be worn like a watch. The flashlight attaches magnetically to the wristband, which also has a clip, and can be removed quickly. The SE1 Pro is slightly heavier, increasing from 0.71 oz to 0.74 oz. That is still lighter than many smartwatches, although the flashlight is more noticeable due to its bulky shape.

Sofirn has also changed the color temperature, switching to neutral white light at 5,000K. The non-Pro model ranged from 6,000K to 6,500K. The Color Rendering Index has increased to at least 90, while Sofirn did not provide a CRI rating for the previous model. The new flashlight uses an RGBW tri-color LED, allowing it to emit red, green, and blue light from the front. However, the UV light has been removed.

Sofirn claims a maximum runtime of 23 hours. This applies to white light in Moonlight mode at one lumen. Maximum output is 300 lumens, but this is available for only one minute before the brightness drops to 70 lumens. Since the runtime specifications are complex, the table at the end of the article provides further details. Last but not least, the built-in and non-replaceable battery charges via USB Type-C. Sofirn plans to launch the SE1 Pro on August 13, 2026. The gadget will initially retail for around, which is cheaper than the previous SE1.
