Skullcandy releases Crusher headphones with hard-punching bass and Sound by Bose

Skullcandy has released its latest Crusher-series wireless headphones—the Crusher 1080 ANC and Crusher 720. Both deliver 'mind-bending bass' refined across more than five generations of Crushers, according to the company, utilizing dedicated bass drivers designed to create low-frequencies that can be felt rather than just heard.
The Crusher 720 offers passive noise cancelling through its over-ear ear cushions, coupled with THX Spatial Audio and Clear Voice background microphone noise cancellation.
The Crusher 1080 ANC adds Sound by Bose technologies, including Bose SpeechClarity for calls, Bose TrueSpatial surround sound, Bose SoundDesign audio tuning, and Bose QuietControl active noise cancellation.
The two headphones offer multi-point connectivity over Bluetooth 5.3 connections to audio sources, with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The Skullcandy smartphone app enables customization of the sound reproduction with personalized sound profiles. It also allows adjustment of the Crusher bass level, custom EQs, and Stay-Aware ambient sound passthrough.
Both offer around 60 hours of runtime, according to Skullcandy, although activating ANC will reduce that on the 1080 ANC to about 50 hours. The headphones support fast charging, adding 4 hours of runtime with 10 minutes of charging.
The Crusher 1080 ANC has an MSRP of $279.99 and the Crusher 720 has an MSRP of $209.99. The Crusher 1080 ANC is available from Amazon in Primer, Candy, True Black, and Cement, while the Crusher 720 is available in Primer, Future, Plasma, True Black, and Cement.
