The Tank T4 is now available via Amazon, among other retailers. It offers a wide range of advertised features at a relatively affordable price, including map display, navigation, 10 ATM and much more.
We recently reported on the Kospet Tank M4, and now the smartwatch is available in another model variant, namely with a round instead of a square display. The wearable is also available on Amazon, with both sales and shipping handled by Amazon. This model is currently available for a $25 discount, bringing the price to $185.
The watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1,000 cd/m². It also boasts very powerful features, including a dual-band GNSS module with support for six different navigation systems, which should enable fast and accurate positioning. Free offline maps can also be downloaded onto the watch.
As usual, optical sensors are installed, which are not only used to measure heart rate but also oxygen saturation. ECGs are not supported, but sleep monitoring is on board. Furthermore, the Kospet Tank M4 comes with a speaker and microphone, allowing it to be used as a Bluetooth hands-free device, and it also has a walkie-talkie function with a limited range of 40 meters. The battery life is specified as up to 15 days in typical use or up to 22 hours in GPS mode. Lastly, the watch is said to be waterproof up to a test pressure of 10 ATM.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

Growing up in regional Australia, I first became acquainted with computers in my early teens after a broken leg from a football (soccer) match temporarily condemned me to a predominately indoor lifestyle. Soon afterwards I was building my own systems. Now I live in Germany, having moved here in 2014, where I study philosophy and anthropology. I am particularly fascinated by how computer technology has fundamentally and dramatically reshaped human culture, and how it continues to do so.
