myFirst Fone S4 kids smartwatch arrives with eSIM, 1.65" OLED, group video calls, MP3 player, and activity and location trackers

myFirst has debuted the Fone S4 smartwatch designed for kids. The watch comes with an always-on OLED display, camera, and integrated 4G eSIM that can be activated worldwide. Parents can control allowed contacts and usage for safety.
The Fone S4 is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum W377E SoC with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM. It has a 1.65-inch 348 x 443 OLED display powered by a 605 mAh battery. Besides 4G connectivity, the watch also has 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, which enables the use of wireless headphones when playing MP3 music or calling others.
Its built-in 5 MP camera enables group video calls with authorized contacts. Parents can control both allowed contacts and usage time remotely. In situations where calls are not allowed, parents can send short magiCode vibration patterns that represent previously agreed upon meanings.
The smartwatch comes with an activity tracker, heart rate tracker, and IPX8 water resistance, helping kids stay healthy through gamified exercise goals.
For safety, parents can monitor their children's location in real-time, with out-of-bound alerts and SOS alarms. No third-party social media, web browser, or other apps can be installed to eliminate unwanted contact from child traffickers.
The myFirst Fone S4 has an MSRP of $199, with a subscription cost of $12/month or $118.80/year. It is available at the myFirst website and will be arriving soon in the myFirst store on Amazon.
