Lenovo has finally released one of its long-awaited 14-inch laptops internationally. Equipped with an unusual motorised display hinge, the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist also packs Intel Arc B390 graphics and a 1,100-nit OLED display in a housing with a 75 Wh battery rated for over 21 hours of battery life in official tests.

Earlier today, we reported that Lenovo had opened reservations for its first mass-produced laptop with a motorised display hinge in China. Priced at CNY 18,999 (~$2,820), the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist started with the Core Ultra X7 358H rather than the cheaper Core Ultra 5 325. Also, Lenovo pairs the laptop in China with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, a comparable combination of which we reviewed last month in the regular ThinkBook 14 G9 IPL (curr. $1,059 on Amazon).

Now, this Chinese release has been joined by equivalents across Europe. Specifically, we have found the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist for sale in countries like France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. By contrast, Lenovo lists the laptop as 'coming soon' in Oceania, Southeast Asia, North America and the rest of East Asia.

Currently, the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist starts at €2,559-€3,049 in the Eurozone with the Core Ultra 5 325, 32 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. At the time of writing, Lenovo has priced the same configuration in the UK at £2,220 (~$2,991), including VAT. Moreover, the company charges €300-€330/£260 for the Core Ultra X7 358H, which brings around 36% higher CPU performance and around twice the GPU performance via the Arc B390.

However, all configurations ship with a 75 Wh battery that supports 100 W charging. Reportedly, the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist lasts over 21 hours in the JEITA-BAT 3.0 test at 200 nits, or over 18 hours in MobileMark 30 at 250 nits. On top of that, Lenovo always includes an 1800p OLED touchscreen display with a 30-120 Hz variable refresh rate and 500 nits SDR/1,100 nits HDR peak brightness.
