Lenovo opens reservations for its cheapest 13-inch ThinkPad of 2026 yet, powered by Lunar Lake

Lenovo has opened reservations for the ThinkPad E13 AI 2026 on JD.com, positioning it as the entry point to its ThinkPad lineup in China for the year.
The E13 AI 2026 runs on an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V, an 8-core (4P + 4E), 8-thread Lunar Lake part with an Arc Graphics 130V (7 Xe² cores) iGPU, paired with 16 GB of non-upgradeable LPDDR5X-8533 memory and a 512 GB SSD. The display is a 13.3-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB coverage, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The lack of a higher refresh rate is an unusual omission at this price point. The hinge opens to 180°.
Connectivity includes two USB-A ports, two Thunderbolt/USB4 ports, and an HDMI 2.1 output, along with single-antenna Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth. The laptop skips a fingerprint reader in favor of an IR camera for Windows Hello. Lenovo lists the chassis as 14 to 18 mm thick and weighing 1.21 kg, with power supplied by a 54.7 Wh battery.

The laptop carries a listed price of 7,499 yuan (around $1,115), reduced to 6,999 yuan (around $1,040) for early reservations. Reservations close on August 24 (UTC+8), with general sales starting the following day.
