Amazon is now taking preorders for Gigabyte's new Primary RGB Tandem OLED gaming monitor in the UK. The MO27Q28G is said to offer higher brightness and better colors, along with a 280Hz refresh rate and a KVM switch. More importantly, it undercuts LG's similar offering by a huge margin.

Gigabyte has started offering its highly anticipated MO27Q28G Tandem OLED monitor in the UK. This model was announced back at Computex 2025 and has been available in the Eurozone since last month. Now, buyers in the UK can preorder it through Amazon for £499.99 (~$662), with shipping slated for October 29.

As we previously reported, the MO27Q28G uses the latest 4th Gen WOLED panel from LG, which is also found on the LG 27GX700A-B (curr: $847.99 at Amazon). This panel brings a new Primary RGB Tandem OLED technology, which is said to deliver higher SDR and HDR brightness, improved text clarity, and increased color volume compared to 3rd Gen WOLED monitors.

At around $662, the Gigabyte offering comes in noticeably cheaper while adding features such as a built-in KVM switch.

Compared to 3rd Gen WOLEDs, the Gigabyte MO27Q28G now reaches up to 1,500 nits in HDR, while SDR brightness has also increased to 335 nits, up from 1,300 nits and 275 nits. The Primary RGB Tandem panel structure further improves text clarity and color reproduction. Specifically, the MO27Q28G covers up to 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color space, a slight improvement over the 98.5% coverage of previous models. With DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, games and movies should look even more vibrant and lifelike.

As for gaming, the MO27Q28G may not deliver the silky-smooth visuals of 500Hz OLED monitors, such as the Aorus FO27Q5P, but it still packs competitive gaming features. It has a 280Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms response time, and G-Sync for tear-free gameplay. It also includes in-game enhancements such as custom crosshairs and the ability to switch the resolution and aspect ratio on the fly.

Moreover, buyers get a solid selection of ports, including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB-C, and USB-A. The monitor also features a built-in KVM switch and several OLED care functions, along with a 3-year OLED warranty.

The Gigabyte MO27Q28G can now be preordered in the UK through Amazon. Units will start shipping on October 29.
