Just around two months to go until Apple's big September event, at which the iPhone 17 generation will be the main focus together with the new Apple Watch generations and potentially new iPads. The four iPhones of 2025 will be significantly more exciting than last year, especially since there will be major changes to the lineup, as the leaks of recent months have repeatedly indicated. In particular, the extremely thin iPhone, potentially called the iPhone 17 Air is expected to set a new design standard as a replacement for the iPhone 16 Plus, which will likely also serve as the basis for future Apple foldables.
Apple iPhone 17 is getting colorful
So far, so familiar. There have already been a few leaks about the potential color options, but now an accessory manufacturer for camera protection rings has provided the first concrete indication of the actual planned color options for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air. The first will be available in black, silver, blue, green and purple, so it is likely to be another rather colorful iPhone, as the image below suggests.
Apple iPhone 17 Air somewhat subdued
The situation is somewhat different with the iPhone 17 Air, which will apparently offer paler/lighter colors and aim to have a somewhat more sophisticated appearance. In addition to black and silver, a light gold and a light blue are planned, judging by the image below, which was published on the South Korean Naver forum. Of course, this isn't final proof, but it's at least an indication that will probably soon be followed by more.
