X account Majin Bu has stepped up with fresh photos showing what one of Apple's next iPhones will look like before they arrive this autumn. To recap, the same account provided a fresh look at the so-called iPhone 17 Air two days ago, full details of which we have covered separately.
Now, Majin Bu has turned their attention to the iPhone 17 Pro, which is anticipated to depart from the design of the current iPhone 16 Pro (curr. $799 - renewed on Amazon) in a few areas. Most notably, Apple is expected to have redesigned its recognisable camera bar. While the triple camera layout remains untouched, a full-width piece of glass allows Apple to push its LED flash array and LiDAR sensor to the outer edges of the iPhone 17 Pro's right-hand side.
The sides of the iPhone 17 Pro also exhibit a more subtle curve to them than those on its predecessor. Moreover, it looks like Apple has repositioned the SIM tray between generations. However, there are no suggestions that Apple will bring the SIM card slot back to its Pro iPhones in countries like the US.
An early MagSafe clear case reflects the rumoured visual changes that Apple is said to be introducing with the iPhone 17 Pro. As a result, the case contains a huge cut-out for the device's camera housing, as well as those for its Camera Control button, USB Type-C port and bottom-firing speakers. A reworked MagSafe ring can be seen to accommodate a displaced Apple logo, too.
