Known tipster Sonny Dickson has recently shared an interesting detail regarding the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro flagship family from Apple. This time around, a fresh and unique color is expected to grace Apple's highest-end iPhone.
In his tweet, Sonny revealed lens covers allegedly destined for this year's Apple iPhone 17 Pro. Since these are likely to be color matched, the lens covers, if legit, give us a glimpse of the color options for the upcoming flagship smartphone. As such, the iPhone 17 Pro lineup is now expected to arrive with five colorways - black, gray, silver, dark blue, and orange.
Of course, the first three options are largely similar to the colors that are available with the current iPhone 16 Pro. However, the blue and the orange option are the new entrants, although we have already witnessed Apple use bluish shades in previous iPhone Pro generations. The orange one is particularly interesting, since we have never seen an orange or copper variant of an iPhone - yet.
Considering that the gold colorway is no longer on the table, a copper/orange finish is likely a suitable replacement. Of course, colors are a highly subjective matter, but one can surely expect Apple to do a pretty decent job with picking a shade, as they arguably have in the past. Sonny Dickson has a pretty reliable track record, as noted by MacRumors, which does add weight to this claim.
